Yellow Horned Nerite snails (Clithon corona)
The Nerite Snail ( Neritina natalensis ) is very colourful and easy to keep, they are peaceful in temperament and make a great algae cleaner to any aquarium. Nerites originate from brackish waters in eastern Africa, this is where fresh water meets salt water. These snails have adapted to live in fresh water and can also be kept in brackish if you wish to breed them. They range in size from 2 – 3cm. These nerites are black and yellow striped, very striking and you cannot miss them in the aquarium.
3 - 4cm in size, adults grow up to 4cm.

Tank Mate Compatibility : Snails can be attacked by Loaches if they are not well fed. Assassin Snails will try to go after Nerites and its advised that they are not housed together.
Feeding : You can feed your shrimp algae flakes, blanched vegetables, and all types of foods. Feed sparingly, Shrimp will feed off natural fauna and algae. We sell a range of foods, which are great for shrimp!
